Earl R. Crouch, Jr, MD, FAAO, FACS
Dr. Earl Crouch is an award recognized ophthalmologist who is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is Professor of Ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and served as the chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology from 1984 to 2012. Dr. Earl Crouch completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois and a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He has regularly lectured at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meetings on topics related to pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has received the Honor Award from both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He received a Top Doc of Hampton Roads Award in 2009. His interests include pediatric cataracts, pediatric glaucoma, blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm, pediatric and adult strabismus, amblyopia, and general pediatric ophthalmology.
